Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Rockland County, New York. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Rotating shifts.
