Access scaffolder — Shenandoah County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an access scaffolder in Shenandoah County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Your main tasks: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
