Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Hancock County, Mississippi. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Overtime paid at a premium rate.
