Cnc production machinist — Smith County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Smith County, Kansas. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
