Panel welder — Ihitte/Uboma

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Ihitte/Uboma, Imo State. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
