Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Powhatan County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
