Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Tuscola County, Michigan. You will be based at a halal meat counter. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
