Join our team: groundskeeper (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Pay around £125 per day, based on your experience.
