Backhoe loader operator • Baraga County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Baraga County, Michigan. You will be based at a landfill site. Day to day you will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; check for underground cables and services before digging. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
