Shuttering fixer — Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Crawford County, Illinois. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. On a typical shift you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Rotating shifts.
