Machine operator — Kodiak Island Borough

The role involves carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
