Crane rigger • Jackson County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Jackson County, Wisconsin. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
