Marble cutter • Scott County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble cutter in Scott County, Kansas. You will work at a kitchen worktop showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Six days a week, one day off.
