Foundry operative — Bingham County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Bingham County, Idaho. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
