Trowel-trade bricklayer — Grady County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Grady County, Oklahoma. Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
