Trainee butcher — Mendocino County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Mendocino County, California. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
