Presser wanted in Durham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Durham County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
