We are recruiting: cnc setter-operator (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Clay County, Illinois. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
