Packaging machine operator wanted in Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Wayne County, Illinois. The job is in a packaging factory. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety The role involves: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line 4+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
