Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Cocke County, Tennessee. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
