Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Dallas County, Texas. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale You will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying.
