Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Haakon County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Part-time with flexible hours.
