Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Dutchess County, New York. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron.
