Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
