Immediate opening: paint and prep technician (Washington)

Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Whatcom County, Washington. You will be based at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch What we are looking for: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE 5+ years on the tools preferred.
