Toolroom milling operator • Wolfe County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Wolfe County, Kentucky. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
