Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Pickaway County, Ohio. The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
