Ironing operator — Clinton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Clinton County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
