Bricklayer — Herefordshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Herefordshire, England. On a typical shift you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
