Lathe operator — Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Putnam County, Ohio. The job is in a packaging factory. Requirements: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. 4+ years on the tools preferred. $7,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
