Great opportunity: milling machine operator (Pennsylvania)

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Erie County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an automotive components factory. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
