Offshore rigger — Lafayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lafayette County, Florida. You will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time with occasional weekends.
