Die-casting operator • Osogbo, Osun State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Osogbo, Osun State. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings ₦185,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
