Butcher — Houston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Houston County, Georgia. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off.
