Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Hempstead County, Arkansas. The job is at an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
