Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Wilbarger County, Texas. The job is at a power plant. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
