Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Pike County, Indiana. You will give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Rotating shifts. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
