Ladle pourer — Orange County

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Orange County, California. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
