In-process quality controller — Victoria County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Victoria County, Texas. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems 2+ years on the tools preferred.
