Vacancy available: sample machinist (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Telfair County, Georgia. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Rotating shifts. Pay around $9,500 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
