Semi-automatic welder — Talbot County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Talbot County, Georgia. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
