Production machine operator — Trafford

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production machine operator in Trafford, England. The job is at an injection moulding unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Pay around £12 per hour, based on your experience.
