Now hiring: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Jasper County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed Full-time, day shift. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
