Moulder — Denbighshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Denbighshire, Wales. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Overtime paid at a premium rate.
