Structural MIG welder — Morgan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Morgan County, Missouri. The job is at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
