Site labourer • Okehi, Kogi State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site labourer in Okehi, Kogi State. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
