Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Slough, England. The job is at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use 4+ years on the tools preferred.
