Safety inspector — Emmet County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Emmet County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
