Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Milton Keynes, England. On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
