Tailor machinist — Kwande

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Kwande, Benue State. You will work at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
